KU Coach Talks Hoops

With just two regular season games remaining, Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks have plenty to play for. Aside from keeping pace with the Texas A&M Aggies atop the Big 12 standings, Self and the Hawks hope to earn a top seed when the NCAA Tournament rolls around next month. Self touched on these topics, and a number of others, during Monday's weekly Big 12 teleconference.

Self on the significance and going 10-0 against the North division:

"I don't know if there is any significance, other than the fact that it puts us in position, if we can win two games against the South this week, to at least have a chance to win the league," said Self. "I didn't even realize it or think about that until somebody mentioned it yesterday (Sunday).

"That hasn't been a point of emphasis with us at all," he added.
