Miners Return to the Don Saturday Night

Fans can take their first look at the 2013-14 UTEP men's basketball game at the annual Orange & White scrimmage on Saturday at 6 p.m. in the Don Haskins Center. Admission is free.

This year's scrimmage will feature a Slam Dunk Showoff and Three-Point Shootout. The slam dunk participants are Jake Flaggert, Vince Hunter and Julian Washburn, and the three-point contest will be headlined by C.J. Cooper, McKenzie Moore and Jalen Ragland.

The slam dunk and three-point competitions will start at 6 and preface the scrimmage, which will be comprised of two 20-minute halves.

The Miners will sign complimentary schedule posters in the concourse of the arena following the scrimmage.

Season tickets will be sold at the scrimmage and fans will have the opportunity to pick their seats. In addition, fans that purchase new season tickets on Saturday night will have the opportunity to shoot one half-court shot following the scrimmage. If they make the shot, they will win the tickets for free.

Concessions will be sold. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m.
