With five verbal commits on board in the 2025 class, Scotty Walden and UTEP are looking to expand the haul in the first full cycle for the new Miner staff. The cornerstone of the class is QB Chad Warner, but he and OL Maddox Huber are the Miners' only pledges on the offensive side of the ball to date.

That may change before long, as UTEP is actively orchestrating a busy day of unofficial visits on July 27.
