As UTEP turns the page to the 2026 recruiting cycle, the Miners are ready to host a loaded crop of visitors for Sunday’s junior day event in the 915. Sources tell MinerInsider.com that nearly 200 recruits are signed up to attend and get a glimpse at everything UTEP has to offer.
Headlining the visit list are a pair of nationally ranked local recruits, as three-star Franklin OL Justin Morales and three-star El Dorado RB Ryan Estrada will stay home in the Sun City to check out UTEP.
A late scratch from the list is Spring (Texas) Grand Oaks DE Cullen Thompson, who was one of the top performers at last week's Navy All-American Bowl combine and picked up his UTEP offer shortly thereafter. He tells MinerInsider.com that he couldn’t iron out travel plans in time, but that he’ll visit in the spring. Also set to be on campus is Haslet (Texas) Eaton DE Alijah Lash, a gifted pass rusher who holds Power 4 offers from Texas Tech and Houston.
Here's a full glimpse at the notable visitors that the Miners expect on campus tomorrow. UTEP has yet to pick up its first 2026 commit, but it shouldn't take long for the program to get on the board after nabbing the top class in C-USA for two straight years.
