Miners to welcome 17 official visitors to the Sun City this weekend

Perhaps it hasn't been the season that Scotty Walden and his staff dreamed it would be at the outset. After all, UTEP is a mere 1-8 as Walden's first season at the helm ticks down to its conclusion.

But as the old saying goes, Rome wasn't built in a day.

With seventeen commits already locked into the 2025 class, the Miners aren't losing momentum on the recruiting trail. Many a coveted prospect in the Lone Star State shares Walden's vision for what UTEP can become in the years ahead. In fact, the Miners currently hold the No. 2 recruiting class in Conference USA and are pushing Middle Tennessee for the top spot. They'll look to make another surge this Saturday as they welcome double-digit official visitors to campus for the second straight weekend.
