As UTEP continues to stack talent in its 2025 class, Scotty Walden and the Miners have the chance to make a huge impression on several key targets in advance of early signing day on Dec. 4. Come Saturday, UTEP will visit New Mexico State in this year's edition of the Battle of I-10, and nine official visitors will watch Walden's program battle with the rival Aggies. Here's a look at all nine official visitors and the outlook on their respective recruitments heading into the weekend.
The Flip Targets
Notes: Keys just committed to Texas State, a program that has perhaps been the largest thorn in UTEP's side throughout the cycle. In the last 10 days, the Bobcats beat out the Miners for two-star ATH Kason Brown and flipped two-star DL Javarius Bell from UTEP. However, the Miners will get their chance at revenge with Keys, a longtime target at the Bandit position. They'll also aim for another head-to-head win over Tulsa, which tried unsuccessfully to flip two-star UTEP offensive line commit Maddox Huber. Gee has been committed to the Golden Hurricane for almost four months, but after Kevin Wilson's firing, there's instability at TU and the Miners are looking to capitalize.
