UTEP battling two schools, and potentially a third, for a three-star QB
As UTEP seeks its centerpiece in the 2025 recruiting class, three-star QB Eli Morcos has emerged as the top quarterback target for Scotty Walden and the Miners. Although Brady Bricker, Christian Nunley and Chad Warner also hold offers, Morcos recently camped with the Miner staff in El Paso and is scheduled to return to the 915 for an official visit on June 19. He's reciprocated the love from Walden and company, and the Miners will look to get him on board when he becomes the first 2025 prospect to take a UTEP official visit.
However, there is competition aplenty in the race for Morcos' services, as Tulsa is working hard to get him back to campus for an official visit before the end of June. The Golden Hurricane extended him a scholarship offer Friday, and appear bound to lock him in for a June 21-23 OV.
